Click here to read Part 1.

Now you see the downside of being a lazy blogger is that you really have to crack your head hard to recall every single thing that took place in the past. Not that there is any benefit of being lazy in life in general anyway. The fact that I am only blogging on Part 2 after two months just seemed to make things a lot worse hahaha when will I ever learn my lesson.

Day 3

Tried my best to think of what happened that morning but all I could remember was the first session. Instead of the usual message, Pastor Isaiah lead us into a worship session. I've always loved praise and worship since I was a kid. To me, it is one of the ways I am able to connect with God.

It was then time for the second round of the big games! Before the games begun, every group was to perform their group chant and obviously, Maltus had the best one amongst the four. When the siren was heard, we immediately gathered at our stations. At the first station, members from each team had to grab a pebble from a bucket of water and arrange the pebbles in a straight line. Clearly, the fastest team wins but the catch of the game was we had to use our feet instead of our hands.

For the second game, each team was to move two types of food from one plate to the other using only the mouth. My team was pretty unlucky for we got raw liver and oranges. Yeap you read it correctly, RAW liver. Being the brave one for once, I decided to take the liver and leave the oranges to those who were afraid *proud of self* and I got to admit that the liver was definitely much easier to grab on compared to the oranges. I kind of regretted being brave after the game ended because my mouth was so stinky man I don't even remember when was the last time my breath smelled this bad!

The third game was pretty simple. Members from each team had to form a human chain and pass sponges soaked in water to the last person in the line. The last person was to squeeze as much water off the sponge into an empty bucket and start the chain again. Both teams were quick and the end results were so close to each other that it was almost a tie. We got so happy when our team was announced as the winner until we found out that the water was collected from the drain.

Until today, I still hope that they were lying to us.

The last game required more of speed. Each member had to place their hand into one of the containers and grab a piece of pebble from it faster than the opponent. There were five containers in total- each containing tiny fishes, soil, tomatoes and as for the other two, I cannot remember. T_T The container I got had tiny fishes in it and gosh my hand smelled fishy lol why am I stating the obvious but I never liked the smell of fish! It is worse than the smell of raw liver I kid you not.

After all the teams returned from their respective stations, we loaded our water guns with colored water and had a water fight. In the thick fog! Water guns were easier to control and much more fun compared to using water balloons which we had been using for years. Everyone had blue and orange dyes all over their bodies, be it the face, the shirt and some even had color dye on their teeth hahaha! As much as I enjoyed myself during the water fight, it was also quite torturing because I was freezing throughout the whole game. And this was what I meant when I said the weather was not ideal for games. T__T

At night, Pastor Isaiah prayed for all the campers personally. When it was my turn, he asked me if I love children. I was stunned at that moment, I mean did I looked like Mother Teresa to him? Pastor Isaiah continued by saying that he sensed I have a big heart for children specifically for the ones on the streets. I was held back a little. Yes I do like children but I cannot bring myself to love them to the extent where I would place my life for them. What more to the children on the streets?

I talked to Ben about this and he said that I might not find this applicable now but I might in the future. Okay then I must remind myself to read this particular post in the future lol.

It was our last night and we couldn't just go to bed without doing anything urm, memorable? The skies were unusually bright that night and it was filled with so many twinkling stars! There were even shooting stars. In fact, there were plenty of them but I missed all of them. Every time I drift my eyes away from the skies, the shooting star made its appearance. Sigh why is luck never on my side shooting star also can miss!

Aside from the unfortunate incident I would say, the night was lovely. I miss watching the stars twinkling one by one, lying side by side with the bunch, screaming away as each shooting star appeared, munching on gummies on the open road. I can never do things like these back in the city. Moments like these are so precious to me.

Day 4

Boy, I can hardly remember anything about this day at all ha ha ha.

So day 4 marks the last day of camp which meant goodbyes and farewells. One day before day 4, every team was asked to prepare a performance for the talent show. The song we got was an Indian song called "Give Them The Ugh" by some Indian artist of course. We practiced hard and came up with super funny moves but on the real day, we screwed up. I remembered the first half of the steps but when it came to the second half, I forgot and panicked. In the end, we came in last for the talent show gah what a waste. :(

But it's alright because when the overall results were announced, guess which team won?

DUM DUM DUM

DUM DUM DUM DUM DUM

(in case you did not get it, those were drum rolls)

MALTUS CAME IN FIRST WHEE!

Honestly, we didn't think we would win because we did not do that well in the games but when the game master asked us to display the number of tags we had collected throughout the games, my team had the most tags! Don't know which smart team member managed to collect so many I didn't even steal one hahaha. The prize was kept a secret which we were supposed to receive on the day of the 4Twelve launch party but until today also we didn't get yet lol. But the friendship we gained and the bond we built throughout the camp was what mattered most at the end of the day!

Before we ended the camp officially, campers were given the opportunity to share how this camp impacted their lives. Listened to many inspiring testimonies by the campers and some even made us teary eyed. Seeing campers building up courage to share and how God worked in their lives did touched my heart. I actually shared a testimony too but I shall hold on to that first and hopefully I will be able to blog about it in the near future.

My teammates, Maltus!

I was assigned to follow the van home instead of the bus. My fellow vanmates did not want to return to church immediately, so we drove up to Genting and stopped by at Starbucks for a drink hehe perks of following the van instead of the bus. But after that we got caught in the jam and only managed to reach church an hour later than the ones who followed the bus lol. Woes of following the van hahaha.

Looking forward to this year's camp already!
