  Super Sapiens Challenge
Friday, April 25, 2014 @ 7:17 PM

Worked for INTI as a facilitator for one of their events; Super Sapiens Challenge the other day. It was one of those events where students from high school are invited to come over to INTI to just play games, have fun- and you know, to promote INTI of course. I registered at the very last minute because I was hesitant on whether to work or not. Hence, I was listed as a backup helper.

Selfie to start the day yo hehe.

More selfies with the other facilitators.

I was supposed to reach the college by 5.45 a.m. but no way I was going to sacrifice my sleep, so I reached the college by 7a.m. only hehe irresponsible helper here. I was assigned to facilitate this Chinese high school, SMK Yoke Kuan, to bring them on a campus tour together with my work partner Brandon. As if being a "banana" is not bad enough, now I had to communicate with them in Mandarin T__T Luckily my work partner was pretty fluent in it and handled most of the explanation in familiarizing the students with the campus. Amd he claimed that he doesn't know how to speak in Chinese pfft such liar.

My work partner for the day!

Who was also being very annoying because he kept taking random pictures / videos of me on Snapchat. -_-

With Somi, one of the photographers of the day. Selfie above was taken using his camera which explains the quality hehe.

While waiting for the high school students to arrive.

Except that we were not the only one waiting for them hohoho.

Group picture + the zombies.

Then, I was assigned to be in charge of a game station. My station was pretty cruel FUN! Each team was to send out three representatives from their group to indulge on delicious looking food. There were three types of food altogether and the representatives had to finish them within the time frame of five minutes. Being kind like I always am *ahem*, I lied to each group saying that they were just crackers with kaya filling, black coffee and chocolate with icing sugar. The naive ones instantly fell for it while the smarter ones knew I was lying.

Food for dem victims. Honestly, they do look edible.

It was so amusing watching the way the students react when they started tasting the food. I still remembered how there was this guy whose face immediately changed once he finished the cup of vinegar + soy sauce. He scowled at me, saying that he trusted me and claimed that he would learn how to smell his coffee before drinking it in the future HAHAHA. But then again his reaction was not as epic as this guy who threw up after he stuffed the whole chocolate into his mouth. His friend offered him a bottle of water but instead he spat out the water almost immediately! The whole floor was covered with his puke / vomit / puddle of water hahaha! Such priceless reactions man I can't believe I was enjoying this. Now I know how the camp committees feel when they torture us during the games.

The amount of students who showed up. There were about 800 of them in total!

There were winners of course but sadly, none of the teams from my school won. Before they left, I managed to take a few pictures with the girls. Hold on, allow me to correct myself. I did have the OPPORTUNITY to take pictures with them but some smart fella *ahem Suhaasan ahem* said that he did take pictures using my phone. Turned out there was NO pictures at all in my phone grr thank you very much Suhaasan.

The girls were really sweet though. One of them gave me her copy of the picture because I didn't have one even though it belongs to her. T__T

The zombies had loads of attentions! Still did not get how the zombies relate to the event itself but at least their efforts were not put to waste haha.

Glad I chose to work for this event! It was a last minute decision but at least I made the right one. Looking forward to working in more events!
