It was towards the end of 2013 when Caleb David decided to organize a cell outing together to end the year. There were about fourteen people who showed up that day which was totally unexpected haha. Met up at this restaurant called Kungfu Paradise in Paradigm Mall for lunch. I already had my lunch at home that afternoon, so I pretty much just watched them eat haha. No lah of course we talked about our lives and such.

Caleb wanted to give a little surprise to Becca for her birthday which was in the early December, so Eve, Bailey, the other Caleb and the two Samuels (WHY DO YOU GUYS HAVE SIMILAR NAMES) decided to leave the table to hunt for a treat. Initially we were going to get macarons but decided to get a cake in the end. In the midst of walking back to the restaurant, we stumbled upon this photo booth with cutesy props and of course being vain, we just had to get our hands on them hehe. We watched these two girls posing with the photo booth before us thinking that it was for free, so being as naive as them we just used the photo booth too.

After hogging the photo booth for half an hour and printing about 10 copies of pictures for ourselves, we noticed this sticky note pasted on the photo booth saying "Lunch Time". Then we realized that the pictures might not be free after all HAHAHA. Who is going to pay for the photos anyway right, so of course we fled. With the pictures. Teehee.

We were going to have a gift exchange that night with a budget of RM5 per gift and the only place to get things for five bucks was obviously Daiso. All of us went hunting for gifts together because ain't nobodeh got time fo' that yo (kidding hehe) which was quite 'smart' of us ah now I look back because there definitely was no surprise anymore hahaha. Wanted to get something useful, so I bought a cutesy hand towel and wrapped it with the Daiso plastic bag. How creative of me right I know.

Caleb decided we should surprise Becca once she comes out from Daiso and we did! Caleb brought his guitar from home that day for caroling purposes later at night, so we sang a birthday song with the guitar accompanied with a five bucks tambourine from Daiso haha. I guess Becca was really surprised because her birthday was over 20+ days ago lololol. Super belated birthday surprise= SUCCESS!

Then, we headed to Tesco for grocery shopping. Yes, grocery shopping. Needed to get ingredients for the barbecue session too! We split into smaller groups though because some needed to get other things. Bailey and I were hunting for treats to be used as door gifts for the 4Twelve launch party the next day. After we were all done, we chilled at this ice-cream shop called Cielo Dolci. They have so many unique flavors and I absolutely crave for the Citrus Chiller ice-cream. So so yummy I tell you!

Because we had a guitar, a tambourine and wonderful voices (ahem), we had a super spontaneous Christmas caroling session at the ice-cream shop! Sang Feliz Navidad, We Wish You A Merry Christmas and other songs which I cannot remember. The owner of the shop was pleased and she rewarded us with three scoops of free ice-creams! She gave us a scoop of salted caramel, gula melaka and coconut flavor each. They made a really great combo yum yum.

Click here to watch a short clip of out spontaneous caroling haha.

She even uploaded a picture of us singing on the Facebook page!

It was around 6pm when we decided to head to Eve's place. Started setting up the barbecue pit later that night because it was raining. Aside from the sausages and patties that were yet to be barbecued, we had Domino's pizzas, cheese baked rice and cheese pasta prepared by Eve's mom. Chilled by the poolside and sang more songs together with the guitar accompanied by great friends and laughter. 'Twas a good night.

Screenshot from another Instavideo we took for Debbie. Sam was so into the moment.

Ended the night with the gift exchange session. I got a grey beanie which was from Caleb Pang and Samuel Pang got my cutesy hand towel haha! Bailey managed to keep her tambourine which she was so into using it for the whole day.

Definitely a day to remember!
